Kauffman Stadium,2013-07-02

I was looking forward for this game since about 3 months. I was reading all the ballhawking and technical info about this stadium(wich was looking awesome), and I was happy when i finally got there.
As you can see, there was absolutely NOBODY around the stadium, that’s because i was early, even for the early bird. This special feature allows you to enter the stadium 2 jours and a half before the game start, which is great for ballhawking(well,at least for toss-up). As i said, i had a lot of time to kill so I decided to turn around the stadium to see everything. First of all,the Arrowhead Stadium:

And the gate A from wich the early bird begin. A guy with a glove came to talk to me about the Royals, and the fact that he was coming to almost every game of the Royals! Cool guy. He had also the same glove as me,a Rawlings RFBDCTC.
We were maybe 20 people waiting for the Early bird to begin. Around 4:20,an employee came and sent us to the Royals HOF. I had a quick glance at it. I also went to the Cincinnati Reds HOF,wich was great too. I think all the teams/stadiums should have something like that to show their history and everything. So this is the view when you enter the Hall of fame.
A replica of the K:
And a giant baseball that was displaying the inside and outside of it:
I ave a million other pictures about it,but let’s get to the game shall we? So after about 10 minutes, everyone got together and we had the choice to go to the Royals or Indians dugout. Of course, I decided to go to the Indians dugout because there was 3 others only that went there too. This was my view of the BP:
I had virtually NO competition(only a 7 or-so-years-old-girl,her parents and two gloveless guys,so i’ve got my first ball of the game after only about 5 minutes by this guy:
I don’t know who he is. Actually, i have his name and number, but it’s not a coach, nor a player. So if someone have the key of the mystery, please feel free to leave a comment! I’m really not sure, but i think it may be Miguel Garcia. Here’s the ball:
And for about 35 minutes, nothing else happened. Then I realized that when the stadium was going to open at 5:30,we would have to wait where we were until 6:00. I had already a ball,so I knew that I could wait but it was still bothering me. During the Early bird,i got another ball from a player. Actually, I was close to one of the gloveless man and the player just threw the ball between us. Easy catch. Don’t worry, the guy got a ball got a foul ball from the usher that was *watching* us(c’mon Royals). At 6:00, I was finally able to walk around the stadium and be free! What a great sensation! The last ball of the BP was snagged with the Zack Hample’s glove trick. Awesome trick,if you don’t know him,go see his blog. So,3 balls at the game was actually great! Just before the game,i wanted to get to the upper deck to have a general view of the K. Incredible stadium.
The thing that I love about Kauffman is that the stands looks incredible!
This was my view for the game(actually,I think these were the best bleachers seats in all the stadium that i’ve been. You feel close to the action and you have an incredible view of the stadium!).
Also, the fountain were close to me,wich was actually very cool!DSCF6924
Later in the game I took these pictures:
Kauffman Stadium is so gorgeous! The Royals lost the game, but still,it was an awesome thing to be there. Everey baseball fan should go to Kauffman Stadium! This is the last pics of it that i took:
